Sola originates, develops, finances, builds and operates solar PV and energy storage projects in Israel and Europe. Founded in 2019, the company is led by a team with decades of experience taking renewable energy projects from origination through grid connection and commercial operation, with a cumulative track record of hundreds of megawatts.
In Israel, we develop, build and operate rooftop solar PV systems on industrial, logistics and commercial buildings. In Italy, through our subsidiary Elia, we operate in ground-mount solar PV, agrivoltaics and energy storage.
Sola is led by an experienced, focused and execution-oriented team, combining engineering, regulatory and financial expertise built up over years in renewable energy. Prior to founding the company, Sola’s leadership had already taken projects from origination through grid connection and commercial operation, with a cumulative track record of hundreds of megawatts.
Since its founding, Sola has established continuous operations in Israel and expanded into the Italian market, focusing on projects with clear feasibility, strong local partners and proven execution capability.
* Year-end 2026 forecast
Sola began its operations in Israel, where the company built a continuous track record of originating, developing, building and connecting solar PV systems to the grid.
In Israel, we focus on rooftop solar PV systems on industrial, logistics and commercial buildings, typically with roof areas of around 3,000 sqm and above. This segment requires a combination of engineering expertise, regulatory know-how and on-the-ground execution capability.
In Israel, Sola acts as the lead contractor for the projects it develops, from development through design and construction, to grid connection and commercial operation. Alongside its solar activity, the company develops and connects low-voltage solar PV systems integrated with battery energy storage, including systems integrated into existing solar assets.
Sola’s operations in Israel form the company’s foundation: a familiar market, active projects, accumulated experience, and direct relationships with asset owners, suppliers, contractors and regulatory bodies.
Italy is one of Europe’s leading renewable energy markets, with growing demand for clean power generation, energy storage and advanced grid infrastructure.
Sola’s operations in Italy are conducted through its subsidiary, Elia. The combination of Elia’s local management team and market experience with Sola’s development and execution capabilities allows the company to operate effectively in a complex, competitive and highly regulated market.
Operations in Italy focus on three core areas: ground-mounted solar PV projects, agrivoltaics and energy storage, either co-located with solar or standalone.
Sola Renewable Energies is expected to list on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) under the ticker symbol SOLA, subject to completion of the offering process. The company operates in the renewable energy sector in Israel and Italy, focusing on the development, construction and operation of solar PV projects, energy storage systems and advanced electricity infrastructure.
Sola provides investors with financial information, financial statements, investor presentations and ongoing disclosures regarding the company’s operations, projects, agreements and active development pipeline.
